"Cut Back to Come Up"

Growth is not the reward of effort; it’s the consequence of attachment. In John 15, Jesus reframes spirituality as connection, not performance: the branch does not manufacture fruit; it receives life from the Vine. The Father’s pruning is not divine anger but divine intelligence—an edit that protects essence and expands capacity. What feels like subtraction is often a sacred strategy. The question of discipleship is not, “How hard can I hustle?” But, “How long can I remain?” You don't become by striving; you become by staying.
